Lo scorso fine settimana si è corso il GP di Finlandia ed Heinola, come nel 2014, ha ospitato l’evento mondiale.

Il nostro Eero Remes ha quindi corso il GP di casa e non ha deluso le aspettative andando a vincere in entrambe le giornate di gara la classe E1, con questo sono otto GP consecutivi vinti, e totalizzando un primo e un secondo posto nella Enduro GP.

Questo risultato nella Enduro GP ha fatto sì che Eero Remes diventasse il nuovo leader della categoria di maggior prestigio e blasone del mondiale di enduro.

Un buon weekend anche per Manuel Monni che ha totalizzato un sesto posto nel Day One e un ottimo quarto posto nella giornata di domenica nella combattuta e difficile classe E3.

Il GP di Heinola non era partito bene per il nostro pilota Junior Oliver Nelson che è caduto malamente nell’area training nella giornata di giovedì procurandosi una piccola frattura al braccio sinistro.

Oliver ha stretto i denti per tutto il fine settimana e dopo il decimo posto nella giornata di sabato ha conquistato un eccellente quinto posto nel Day 2.

EERO REMES
“Ieri una giornata perfetta, non ho commesso nessun errore e ho vinto classe ed Enduro GP. Oggi invece sono partito un po’ a rilento e ho iniziato a spingere troppo tardi”.

MANUEL MONNI
“Non sono mai riuscito a prendere il ritmo nelle prove speciali e in entrambe le giornate di gara. Ottimo il quarto posto nel Day 2 ma sono convinto che si poteva far meglio e così farò in Svezia”.

OLIVER NELSON
“Il weekend è iniziato male con una brutta caduta nell’area training, nonostante la frattura al braccio sinistro ho deciso di correre perché sentivo poco dolore. Il primo giorno di gara ho cercato di non forzare mentre oggi mi sentivo meglio e ho ottenuto un ottimo risultato”.
