REMES A PODIO NELLA CLASSE STRANIERI
A San Giacomo di Roburent lo scorso weekend si è disputato il penultimo atto degli Assoluti d’Italia di Enduro.
Il percorso allestito dal MotoClub Offroad ‘2000 non aveva nulla da invidiare a quelli che troviamo nel campionato mondiale. Tre Prove Speciali di alto livello, il Cross Test che all’apparenza sembrava facile al contrario riservava mille insidie e man mano che i piloti passavano si scavava e le buche affioravano. La Linea era lunga, si percorreva in circa dieci minuti ed era alquanto veloce mentre spettacolare l’Extreme Test quasi tutto in salita e con una serie di pietre alquanto impegnative da attraversare. Il trasferimento era abbastanza facile e questo è stato l’unico neo del percorso.
Eero Remes e Aigar Leok questi i piloti ufficiali TM che hanno preso il via al weekend cuneese ed entrambi, ovviamente, hanno partecipato alla classe Stranieri.
Il pilota finlandese ha corso una gara regolare, senza troppi picchi e con qualche errore di troppo. Il risultato finale è comunque lodevole, un secondo posto nella classe Stranieri.
Meno performante la prova di Aigar, ancora alle prese con guai fisici il pilota estone ha preso la gara degli Assoluti come allenamento.
Settembre sarà un mese impegnativo e ricco di eventi. Inizierà con l’ultimo atto degli Assoluti d’Italia di Enduro e il nostro Eero Remes è il lizza per il titolo nella classe Stranieri. Per poi passare la settimana successiva in Francia per l’ultimo GP iridato e qui Aigar Leok e Benjamin Herrera si giocheranno il podio finale. La conclusione è con la Six Days che si correrà in Sardegna in quel di Olbia.

“Non sono soddisfatto della mia prestazione anche se ho ottenuto un secondo posto nella classe Stranieri. Troppi errori e troppe cadute hanno compromesso la gara. Resta il fatto che le tre Prove Speciali erano molto belle e impegnative ed è stato un buon allenamento”
AIGAR LEOK
“Le mie intenzioni prima della gara erano di ben figurare e pensavo anche di andare forte in alcune Prove Speciali come il Cross Test ma soprattutto l’Extreme Test che mi piaceva molto. Alla fine niente da fare, un pessimo risultato. Voglio prendere di positivo solamente un paio di tempi nel Cross Test e nell’Extreme. Al momento sto risolvendo i guai fisici che mi sto portando dietro da inizio anno e con questo lungo periodi di pausa mi curerò per dare il massimo nel rush finale di settembre”.

The track was prepared by MotoClub Off-road ‘2000 who had nothing to envy of those we find at the World Championship, Three Special Trials of high level, the Cross Trial, which ,in appearance seemed easy, but on the contrary, reserved a thousand insidious, bit by bit, as the pilots passed, it dug down and holes blossomed.
The tracks were long, they were travelled in about ten minutes and were somewhat fast while spectacular, the Extreme Test, nearly all of it uphill and with a series of rocks somewhat demanding to manoeuvre through. The transfer was quite easy and this was the only black spot of the track.
Eero Remes and Aigar Leok , these, the official pilots of TM , who took part in the going offs at the weekend in Cuneo, and both, obviously, participated in the Foreigners Class
The Finish pilot ran a regular race, without too many peaks and with a few too many errors. The final result, however, was praiseworthy, a second position in the Foreigners Class .The performance of the trial of Aigar was less captivating, still struggling with physical problems, the Estonian pilot looked upon the race of the Absolutes as practice.
September will be a busy month ,full of rich events. It will begin with the last stage of the Absolute of Italy of Enduro and our Eero Remes is in list for the title in the Foreigners class,; to then pass the following week in France for the last colourful GP, and here Aigar Leok and Benjamin Herrera bet their final podium. The conclusion is with the Six Days
which will be raced in Olbia, Sardinia.

“ I am not satisfied with my presentation even if I obtained a second place in the Foreigners Class. Too many mistakes and too many falls compromised the race. The fact remains that the three Special Trials were very good and demanding, and it was good practice “
AIGAR LEOK
“ My intention, before the race was to make a good impression, and to go fast, also, in some of the Special Trials, such as, the Cross Test, but , above all the Extreme Test , which I liked a lot. At the end, nothing to do, a bad result. I want to take just a couple of positives in time in the Cross Test and in the Extreme. At the moment I am resolving a few physical problems that I am dragging around since the beginning of the year, and with this long pause I will get cured to give my maximum in the final rush of September.”
