Assoluti Enduro Tolmezzo

La prestazione dei nostri piloti non è stata delle più esaltanti ma ad Ampezzo, sede del terzo round degli Assoluti d’Italia di Enduro, non è certo stata una passeggiata.
Il percorso della prova di Ampezzo non aveva nulla da invidiare ad una prova del Mondiale e proprio in queste zone, nel 2001 si corse una prova iridata. Radici, sassi, due Prove Speciali in Linea e un Cross Test impegnativo, qualche goccia d’acqua e un terreno scivoloso. Ecco il mix friulano, un banco di prova duro e impegnativo per i nostri piloti che certamente non si sono tirati indietro.
Entrambi i nostri piloti erano schierati nella classe Stranieri e lottano a pari con i piloti italiani per l’Assoluta. Eero Remes e Aigar Leok hanno dato il massimo per raggiungere e agguantare le prime posizioni ma una buona dose di sfortuna e uno scarso feeling nei due Enduro Test hanno estromesso i nostri due piloti dalle posizioni di vertice.
Aigar Leok ha parcheggiato la TM 300 due tempi anticipatamente al parco chiuso causa una brutta botta alla mano destra che a fine gara si è gonfiata notevolmente. Eppure il pilota estone era partito carica e con molta voglia di riscatto dopo l’opaca prova inaugurale di Camerino.
Anche Eero Remes non ha brillato anche se ha lottato come un leone fino alla fine ma nelle due Prove Speciali Enduro Test pagava dazio mentre nel Cross Test riusciva a recuperare terreno e limitare i danni.
Ora gli Assoluti d’Italia di Enduro si fermano per circa un mese per lasciare spazio al Mondiale di Enduro con in programma la doppia trasferta Iberica (Spagna e Portogallo).
Il prossimo appuntamento per gli Assoluti è previsto per 1 e 2 giugno a Bobbio in provincia di Piacenza.

“Giornata no per i nostri piloti. Entrambi hanno avuto una giornata negativa e non sono riusciti a trovare il giusto feeling con il tracciato divenuto molto scivoloso dalla pioggia dei giorni precedente ma anche durante la gara. Archiviati gli Assoluti per circa un mese, ora i nostri piloti hanno qualche giorno per ricaricare le pile per poi essere pronti a dare il massimo al prossimo appuntamento Mondiale”
EERO REMES
“Ancora una volta non ho reso al 100% delle mie possibilità e ho ancora trovato difficoltà nelle Prove Speciali Enduro Test con terreno ricoperto da sassi. Sono consapevole del mio punto debole e sto cercando di trovare condizioni simili in allenamento. Ma è anche vero che è molto difficile trovare spesso degli Enduro Test pieni di sassi nel mondiale di enduro.”
AIGAR LEOK
“Volevo riscattarmi dalla pessima prestazione di Camerino, alla prima degli Assoluti, ma la sfortuna mi ha perseguitato. Ho preso un duro colpo alla mano destra e non riuscivo più a guidare. Ho deciso di fermarmi per non peggiorare la situazione anche perché tra poco partiremo per una doppia trasferta mondiale in Spagna e Portogallo dove devo dare il massimo. Spero vivamente di rifarmi a Bobbio, fra un mese circa.”
The presentation of our pilots was not one of the most exciting but at Ampezzo, the head office of the third round of the Absolute of Italy of Enduro, it certainly was not a walkover.
The track of the trails in Ampezzo had nothing to envy, and at one of the trails of the World Championship is in one of these areas. In 2001 an iridescent was raced. Roots, stones, two Special trails and a demanding Cross Test, a few drops of rain and a slippery terrain. Here is the Fruilian mix, a bank of hard and committing trails for our pilots who certainly did not pull back.
Both of our pilots were drawn up in the Foreigners Class and fought at evens with the Italian pilots for the Absolute. Eero Remes and Aigar Leok gave their maximum to reach and seize the first positions, but a good dose of bad luck and a low feeling in the two Enduro Tests expelled the two pilots from the summit position.
Aigar Leok parked the TM 300 two temps in advance of the closed park because of a bad bump to his right hand, that swelled noticeably by the end of the race. And yet the Estonian pilot took off loaded and full of will to redeem himself after the dull trail at the inaugural of Camerino.
Eero Remes, also, did not shine even if he fought like a lion till the end, but, in the two Special Enduro Test Trails he paid excise duty while in the Cross Test he managed to recuperate terrain and limited the damage.
Now the Absolute of Italy will stop for about a month to leave space for the Enduro World Championship , with in programme the double Iberic transfer

The next appointment for the Absolute is foreseen on the 1st and 2nd of June at Bobbio in the province of Piacenza.

“ A NO day for our pilots, both of them had a negative day and they did not manage to find the right feeling with the mapped out line, that had become very slippery from the rain of the previous days but, also during the race.
The Absolutes are filed away for about a month, now our pilots have a few days to recharge their batteries, to then be ready to give their maximum at the next World appointment.”
EERO REMES
“Once more I did not render a 100% of my possibilities and I still found difficulty in the Special Enduro Test Trail, with the terrain covered with stones.
I’m aware of my weak points and I’m trying to find similar conditions to practice. But, it is also true ,that it is difficult, often in the Enduro Test to find stones in the Enduro World.”
AIGAR LEOK
“I wanted to redeem myself for the poor presentation of Camerino at the first of the Absolutes, but bad luck followed me. I took a bad bump to my right hand and I was unable to drive anymore. I decided to stop so as not to worsen the situation, also because shortly we will leave for a double world transfer in Spain and Portugal where I have to be in maximum best shape.
I energetically hope to do well in Bobbio, in about a month”
