Il Gp del Messico penultimo appuntamento stagionale di questa lunghissima stagione si è corso sulla pista di Leon, tracciato dal fondo duro, purtroppo le abbondanti piogge cadute durante il sabato notte ha reso la pista al limite della praticabilità durante le due manche di gara.

Il team TM Factory Racing si presenta a questo appuntamento con il solo Samuele Bernardini, Davide Guarneri impegnato nella sei giorni di enduro rientrerà per l’ultima prova a Glen Helen.

Nella manche di qualifica Samuele è strepitoso alla partenza riuscendo ad inserirsi nella parte alta della classifica, Bernardini riesce a tenersi stretto il suo settimo posto per diversi giri. Purtroppo un problema fisico, a causa di una piccola intossicazione alimentare, lo ha rallentato ed ha dovuto accontentarsi della 13° posizione.

La domenica mattina la pista si presenta in condizioni pessime quasi al limite della praticabilità, Samuele nella prima manche è caduto al primo giro ma grazie ad una grandissima rimonta è riuscito a ritornare nella top ten con il nono posto, a pochi giri dalla fine è incappato in un’altra scivolata che lo ha relegato in 13° posizione.

Al via di gara 2 Samuele è stato strepitoso, grandissima partenza e un primo giro fantastico che lo ha portato fino alla quarta piazza, purtroppo anche in questa heat è scivolato quando stava tenendo un ottimo passo gara, Bernardini ha comunque concluso in 10 posizione.

Samuele Bernardini chiude undicesimo in classifica generale con qualche rammarico per le troppe scivolate.

Il Team TM Factory Racing si sposta direttamente negli Stati Uniti per l’ultimo appuntamento della stagione sulla storica pista di Glen Helen.

Marco Ricciardi commenta così la gara:”Peccato veramente si poteva ottenere un ottimo risultato, nella prima manche dopo una buona partenza è caduto subito ed ha dovuto recuperare, e nella foga di rimontare è scivolato di nuovo, in gara 2 ha messo in mostra una prima parte di gara perfetta, siamo comunque soddisfatti per i grande lavoro fatto dalla squadra e da Samuele.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gp Mexico penultimate round of this long season was raced on the track of Leon, drawn from the bottom hard, unfortunately the heavy rains during the Saturday night made the track to the limit of viability during the two rounds of competition.

At the start of race 2 Samuel was amazing, great start and a great first lap that took him up to fourth place, unfortunately, in this heat it slipped when he was having a good race pace, Bernardini has still finished in 10th position.

Samuele Bernardini closes eleventh in the overall standings with some regrets about too many slips.

TM Factory Racing Team moves directly to the US for the last round of the season on the historic track at Glen Helen.
