Vittoria!!
La quinta prova del Mondiale Supermoto si è disputata sulla pista di Latina, per l’occasione la gara doveva disputarsi in notturna ma a causa della scarsa illuminazione non è stato possibile correre in sicurezza e il programma di gara si è svolto in un’unica giornata.
Nelle qualifiche Thomas Chareyre ha ottenuto un’ottima seconda posizione, con Thierry Van den Bosch ha chiuso la prima fila in quarta posizione.
In gara 1 Thomas è partito subito forte mettendosi nella scia di Hermunen, Chareyre è riuscito in due occasioni a portarsi in testa ma ha commesso due piccoli errori che gli hanno fatto perdere la leadership, il campione del mondo in carica si è dovuto accontentare della seconda posizione, Thierry ha chiuso in quarta piazza.
Nella seconda manche che Thomas Chareyre compie il capolavoro, parte subito fortissimo e al secondo giro passa al comando e con un ritmo incredibile vince la sua prima manche stagionale e conquista il Gp, incredibile la prestazione di VDB che ha attaccato dall’inizio alla fine tagliando il traguardo in terza posizione e per soli tre punti non sale sul podio.
Incredibile gara che da morale e forza alla squadra in vista del finale di stagione, Thomas Chareyre è riuscito a recuperare molti punti in classifica mondiale.
Prossimo appuntamento tra una settimana per la penultima prova degli Internazionali d’Italia a Pomposa, la gara di casa per il team Tm Factory.
