Secondo appuntamento stagionale per il mondiale Supermoto in Spagna sulla pista di Albaida vicino a Valencia.

Thomas Chareyre si presenta a questo appuntamento dall’alto della classifica iridata dopo la doppia vittoria a Jerez.

Purtroppo il team TM Factory ha perso Diego Monticelli durante le prove a causa di una caduta che gli ha procurato la lussazione della spalla destra, nei prossimi giorni il giovane pilota capirà i tempi di recupero.

Nella prima giornata di sabato dopo le prove libere un violento nubifragio ha costretto gli organizzatori ha cancellare il programma pomeridiano e le qualifiche sono state disputate domenica mattina.

Thomas Chareyre come nella precedente gara ha dimostrato tutta la sua forza ottenendo il miglior tempo nelle crono per poi andare ad abbassare il tempo di quasi un secondo nella super crono.

In gara 1 Thomas è stato perfetto e dalla prima curva alla bandiera a scacchi ha tenuto la testa della gara.

Nella seconda manche Thomas Chareyre ha dovuto sudarsi la vittoria, il francese al via si è fatto sorprendere da due dei vuoi avversari, ma grazie ad una grande tattica di gara ha sferrato l’attacco decisivo a due giri dalla fine andando a vincere.

Due gare e due vittorie e in un campionato mondiale dove per ora in calendario ci sono solo quattro gare Thomas Chareyre è a metà dell’opera.

Prossimo appuntamento il 12 Giugno sulla pista piemontese di Busca in Italia.

Alex Serafini commenta così la gara:”Siamo molto contenti del lavoro che sta facendo Thomas, il fine settimana è stato molto difficile a causa delle condizioni meteo. Chareyre è in forma strepitosa e in un campionato così corto non si può sbagliare. Ci dispiace per l’infortunio di Diego, speriamo che possa tornare in sella quanto prima.”
