Italian Supermoto Championship Round 2 Battipaglia.

Elia Sammartin wins and convinces in Battipaglia.

The second round of the Internazionali d’Italia took place on the Circuito del Sele in Battipaglia, the riders of the L30 Racing TM Factory team were once again the protagonists, Sammartin victorious in the SM1 and Kevin Vandi on the podium in the SM4.

SM1

Elia Sammartin after the not easy World Championship race in Busca wants to make up for it and shows it right from the first practice sessions, in qualifying exceptional pole position for Elia who sets abysmal gaps on his opponents. Andrea Acetti instead fails to set a good time and closes his practice with the 17th time.

In the first heat Sammartin makes no mistakes, when the traffic lights go out he takes the lead of the race at the first corner without problems, in the first laps Elia took the right advantage to be able to administer up to the checkered flag. Andrea Acetti improves his performance with the 14th place.

The second and last heat of the day sees once again the great performance of Sammartin. Elia starts once again in a perfect way, leaving nothing to his opponents, with an unsustainable pace for all the riders, he took the lead right from the start, bringing home the victory. Elia Sammartin wins the second round of the Internazionali d’Italia and is increasingly leader of the standings. Andrea Acetti closes with the 13th place.

SM4

In qualifying for the S4, the asphalt-only riders were unable to find the right feeling with the Campania track, Emanuele Esposito closed with the fourth time alongside him Kevin Vandi fifth Giovanni Galloni only 14th.

In race 1 good progression by Vandi who in the first laps manages to overtake and take third place and only in the last laps he had to give way to his teammate Emanuele Esposito who after a first part of the race studying his opponents he changed gear managing to recover up to the final third position. Galloni ends in 17th position after a crash

In race 2, good start for Vandi who maintains his fourth position, immediately targeting third place, Kevin after having studied his opponent with a great overtaking move to third place. Vandi did nothing wrong in the final laps and thanks to this result he climbed to the third step of the podium. Bad luck for Esposito who was forced to retire on the ninth lap due to a technical problem. Govanni Galloni did not take part in the race due to the crash in race 1.

SMYoung.

Matteo Andreotti after the good opening round in Ottobiano proves once again in this second round in Battipaglia one of the strongest riders in the 250. In qualifying he gets an excellent second time.Matteo after a good start gets close to the leader, Andreotti with a good performance maintained the position for the 10 laps of the race.In the second heat Andreotti lost a position at the start dropping back to third place, Matteo trying to recover immediately ran into a mistake that made him slip to the rear. The young driver of Team L30 Racing managed to recover up to the final fifth position.Matteo Andreotti ends his day on the third step of the podium.

Next commitment for the L30 Racing TM Factory team in fifteen days with the second race of the S1GP World Championship.
