Bad tile for the L30 Racing Tm Factory team, Alex Ruiz after obtaining a great pole position in the first laps of race 1 crashed causing a fracture of his left femur.

In qualifying Kevin Vandi struggled to find the right feeling with the German street circuit and had to settle for third position and Lorenzo Papalini fifth.

At the restart of race 1 after the red flag displayed following Ruiz’s accident, Vandi tried to keep up with the race leader but unfortunately the rider from Romagna should have risked more than necessary and settled for second position. Excellent performance for Lorenzo Papalini after a good start he engaged in a duel which ended only on the last lap giving him the third position.

The second heat was a photocopy of the first for Kevin Vandi, at the start he was unable to put the wheels in front of his opponent and he didn’t have the chance to attack him but he still brought home a good second place which earned him second position on the podium and is still on the red plate, extending the championship by a few points. Lorenzo Papalini slipped at the second corner after the start, nullifying the possibility of getting on the podium.

Next appointment with the Supermoto World Championship on July 16th in Bulgaria.

Ivan Lazzarini:”Marc’s fantastic race who won all three heats in front of his fans, he showed a great personality and the red plate finally came home. Sammartin was constant getting a good result. I am very sorry for the injury suffered by Alex in the first heat, he has already been operated on and will have to stay away from the slopes for a long time. Kevin brought home a good second place confirming himself as championship leader.”
