Il ritorno in Europa coincide con il Gp di Arco del Trentino, il team Ricci Racing si presenta a questo appuntamento per continuare il buon lavoro svolto nelle prime tre gare della stagione.
Ottima la manche di qualifica per Davide Guarneri, il pilota bresciano dopo una eccellente partenza si è inserito nelle posizioni alte della classifica riuscendo ad ottenere un buon settimo posto, Tanel Leok grazie ad una manche consistente ha chiuso in 15° piazza.

Gara 1 ha visto ancora una volta un Davide Guarneri in ottima forma, Davide è partito molto bene tenendo un eccezionale ritmo di gara e grazie anche ad un passo di gara ottimo ha chiuso in nona posizione, Tanel Leok purtroppo si è dovuto ritirare a causa di un problema fisico.
In gara 2 Guarneri ha cercato di attaccare fin dai primi giri riuscendo a stare nelle prime posizioni, Davide negli ultimi giri ha alzato il ritmo per non rischiare di compromettere un buon risultato tagliando il traguardo in 11°, Leok ha stretto i denti e con una gara incredibile è riuscito a concludere in 15°posizione.

Grazie ai due eccezionali risultati Guarneri ha chiuso in nona posizione assoluta.
Sfortunato il fine settimana per Christopher Valente, nella manche di qualifica è caduto ed è stato investito da un avversario, senza conseguenze gravi.
Nelle due manche Valente ha cercato di portare la sua Tm al traguardo chiudendo entrambe le gare in 26° piazza.
In questo fine settimana sono scesi in pista per la prima prova i giovani della 125, Morgan Lesiardo e Lorenzo Ravera si sono qualificati per le due gare in programma, i due giovanissimi alla prima gara stagionale non sono riusciti ad esprimersi al meglio.
Solo pochi giorni di pausa e poi di nuovo in pista per il quinto appuntamento stagionale in Bulgaria.

Ilario Ricci commenta così la gara:”Siamo abbastanza contenti di come è andata questa gara. Guarneri ha fatto bene ed ha chiuso questo primo GP italiano al nono posto assoluto.
Tanel invece ha preso un brutto colpo al ginocchio in gara uno e nella seconda non era ovviamente al cento per cento. Per Valente direi che è stato un altro GP di allenamento.”

Davide Guarneri commenta così la gara:”Ho fatto una bella prima manche ma poi nella seconda il terreno è peggiorato e il mio setting anteriore non era a posto. Purtroppo con le tre trasferte oltre oceano non c’è stato tempo di provare tante soluzioni per quanto riguarda le sospensioni. Non sono messo così male ma su questi terreni soffriamo.”

Tanel Leok commenta così la gara:”Nella gara di apertura stavo facendo il mio ritmo quando ho preso una forte botta al ginocchio e ho dovuto rallentare. Nella secondo ho fatto fatica perché ovviamente non potevo appoggiare il ginocchio a terra. Domani andrò dal medico per vedere se posso continuare ad allenarmi oppure se devo stare fermo. Domenica c’è subito la Bulgaria ed il tempo per curarmi è poco.”

The GP of Trentino, in Arco di Trento, is the first European race of the 2014 World Championship and Ricci Racing Team lines up its riders with the aim of continuing the good job done in the previous rounds.
Davide Guarneri had a great qualifying race: after an excellent start he entered the top ten and finished 7th; Tanel Leok finished 15th thanks to a very consistent manche.
On Sunday, in the first manche, Davide Guarneri was brilliant; he started very well and maintained an extraordinary pace during all the race finishing 9th; unfortunately, Tanel Leok was forced to abandon because of a physical problem. In the second one, Guarneri pushed since the first laps, but in the last ones he decreased the rhythm not to compromise a good result finishing 11th; Leok finished 15th thanks to a very good race despite of the pain. Davide Guarneri finished in overall 9th position.
Christopher Valente was not very lucky this weekend. In the Qualifying Race he crashed and another rider ran over him but Valente fortunately didn’t receive any damage. In the two manches he tried to push as much as possible finishing 26th.
In the 125 class, Morgan Lesiardo and Ravera qualified for the races, but they still have to show their skills and talent.
Now only a few days to relax and then ready for the 5th GP in Bulgaria.

Ilario Ricci, Team Manager: “We are rather satisfied with this weekend. Guarneri had a good race and finished this first GP in Italy in 9th position; Tanel Leok instead hurt badly his knee in the first manche and in the second one he was not at his top form. Valente continues to build up his experience and trainig.”

Davide Guarneri, Mx1 Rider: “I’m really happy of my first manche, but in the second one the track got worse and I had not the perfect feeling with the setting of my bike. Unfortunately, after the three overseas races we had not the time to try other solutions for my suspensions. ”

Tanel Leok, Mx1 Rider: “In the first race I maintained my pace until I hurt my knee so badly that I had to slow down. In the second one, I was really struggling with the pain to the knee and I couldn’t drive properly. Tomorrow I’m going to the doctor to understand if I can keep on training or if I should rest. On Sunday there’s the GP of Bulgaria and I have not so much time to recover.”
