Mondiale Motocross GP della Thailandia

Ottimo fine settimana per il Team Ricci Racing e Davide Guarneri nella seconda tappa del mondiale corsa sul tracciato di Si Racha in Tailandia.
Il caldo ha messo a dura prova i piloti ma grazie all’ottima condizione fisica di Guarneri, Leok e Valente non ha creato grossi problemi.
Davide Guarneri trova subito il giusto feeling con la pista Tailandese e nella manche di qualificazione con un ottimo passo di gara strappa un’ottima nona posizione, Tanel Leok non è riuscito a trovare il giusto setting ma ha lottato fino alla fine terminando 18°.
La prima manche di domenica con il termometro altre i 35° gradi Guarneri non è riuscito ad avere una buona partenza ma il “Pota” non si è perso d’a-nimo e con una grande rimonta ha colto un fantastico ottavo posto, buona la prestazione di Leok giunto 13°.
Davide Guarneri nella seconda heat ha dimostrato la crescita costante sua e della moto, con una gara sempre vicino ai primi e con un ottimo ritmo con buoni tempi ha strappato l’ottavo posto di manche, Leok non ancora al top della condizione ha tagliato il traguardo in 18°.
Nella Mx2 Christopher Valente sta ancora cercando il feeling giusto con la sua nuova moto, Christopher che non è ancora al massimo delle sue condizioni fisiche ha corso due manche al massimo delle sue possibilità e riuscendo a conquistare i suoi primi punti mondiali.
Una piccola pausa prima della terza trasferta oltre oceano in Brasile dove il team Ricci Racing continuerà lo sviluppo della nuova moto.
Ilario Ricci commenta così la gara:”Dopo tanto ci voleva un bel risultato, questo ci da la carica per continuare a lavorare nella giusta direzione, Tanel non è ancora al 100%, Davide ha fatto due ottime manche, dobbiamo migliorare la partenza che è ormai fondamentale, Christopher sta miglio-rando gara per gara, sono molto contento di questa gara.”
Davide Guarneri commenta così la gara:”Buona gara quando si riesce a stare nei dieci, peccato aver perso una posizione nella seconda manche alla fine, la moto è andata bene, gara molto dura, con le partenze più felice po-tremmo fare degli ottimi risultati, siamo tutti molto contenti e sappiamo dove lavorare per migliorare.”
Tanel Leok commenta così la gara:”Nella prima manche non male, ho spinto fin dai primi giri riuscendo a rimontare fino alla 13°, nella seconda manche ho avuto problemi di stomaco che mi hanno penalizzato e non sono riuscito a tenere il mio ritmo.”
Christopher Valente commenta così la gara:”Sono partito male, i primi venti minuti delle due gare sono andato bene, poi la stanchezza mi ha fatto alzare il ritmo, sono contento di aver preso i primi punti mondiale e tor-niamo a casa per migliorare la condizione fisica.”
The hot weather tried out the riders but thanks to Guarneri’s, Leok’s and Valente’s great physical conditions it didn’t represent a big problem.
Davide Guarneri found immediately the right feeling with the circuit and in the Qualifying Race thanks to a great pace he succeeded in finishing 9th, while Tanel Leok didn’t find the right setting but he fought until the end finishing 18th.
On Sunday the first MX1 manche, Guarneri didn’t have a good start but thanks to a great recover finished 8th and Leok finished with a good 13th place. In the second manche, Guarneri showed his continuous improve-ments and the great developments on his bike and he raced together with the leading riders with a great pace and good lap times finishing 8th, while Leok who hasn’t reached his top form finished 18th.
In Mx2 Christopher Valente still tries to find the right feeling with the new bike. He’s not at his top form and he did his best in these two manches succeeding in obtaining his first points.
Now a little break before the 3rd overseas GP in Brazil where Ricci Racing Team are going to develop the new bike.
Ilario Ricci: “I’m very happy of this good result, it motivates us to keep ok working in the right direction. Leok isn’t still at 100%; whereas Guarneri had two great manches. We have to improve starts which is fundamental. Valente is improving race by race and I’m happy of his today’s results.”
Davide Guarneri: “I had a good race, I’m happy of having entered the top ten. Unfortunately I lost a place in the second manche in the end, the bike was good and the race was really hard. With better starts we can obtain better results. We are very happy and we know where to work in order to improve.”
Tanel Leok: “In the first heat I had a good race, I pushed in order to catch up as many positions as possible finishing 13th. in the second race, I had some problems with my stomach that affected my performance and I couldn’t maintain the pace.”
Christopher Valente: “I had a bad start, in the first twenty minutes in both races I eas riding well but then I felt tired and I lost the pace. I’m happy to have obtained my first points in the World Championship and now I come back home to improve my physical condition.”
