Il 12° appuntamento con il Mondiale Motocross si è svolto sulla pista di Udevalla in Svezia, il tracciato è stato rinnovato in alcuni punto rendendo la pista ancora più spettacolare.
Per il Team Ricci Racing è stato un fine settimana ricco di soddisfazioni, rientra anche il giovane pilota svizzero Christopher Valente in sella alla sua TM 250, Christopher dopo una lunga assenza a causa di un infortunio sta cercando di riprendere la sua migliore forma fisica.

Nelle qualifiche della MXGP Davide Guarneri e Tanel Leok si sono ben comportati, Davide con una buona manche riuscendo a stare sempre nella parte alta della classifica ha chiuso al sesto posto, Leok non è riuscito ad esprimersi come avrebbe voluto e si è dovuto accontentare della 20° piazza. Nella prima manche Davide partito a centro gruppo e non è riuscito a trovare il varco giusto per scalare la classifica, Guarneri ha però disputato un’ottima manche riuscendo a stare costantemente vicino ai suoi avversari tagliando il traguardo in 12° posizione, Tanel in 17°.

Eccezionale partenza in gara 2 per Davide Guarneri che ha messo in mostra una grandissima velocità transitando al primo giro in terza piazza, il “Pota” Guarneri ha dimostrato di poter battersi ad armi pari con i suoi avversari mettendo in mostra tutto il suo talento, Davide ha tagliato il traguardo in sesta posizione un grandissimo risultato per lui e per il Team Ricci, purtroppo Tanel Leok in partenza è caduto ed è stato costretto al ritiro

In classifica assoluta Davide Guarneri ha ottenuto il nono posto.
Solo qualche giorno di riposto e poi di nuovo in pista per il 13° Gp in Finlandia.
