A Edolo, un paesino della Val Camonica in provincia di Brescia, si è corso l’ultimo atto degli Assoluti d’Italia di Enduro targato 2014.

Due le giornate di gara e il percorso disegnato dagli organizzatori prevedeva lo svolgimento delle tre prove speciali prima del CO1 e successivamente un trasferimento di circa cinquanta minuti per arrivare al CO2. I nostri due alfieri, Eero Remes e Aigar Leok, hanno ben figurato nella giornata inaugurale andando a conquistare un ottimo secondo e terzo posto nella classe stranieri. Eero, nel Day One, ha lottato fino all’ultima speciale per conquistare la sua prima vittoria agli Assoluti e nonostante una buona prestazione purtroppo il primo posto non è arrivato.

Nella giornata seguente Aigar Leok si è ritirato alla prima speciale, enduro test, per una caduta. Nulla di grave ma per il pilota estone l’amaro bottino di questa giornata di gara è di due dita fasciate della mano sinistra. Per quanto riguarda Eero Remes la sua è stata una giornata positiva sia per il risultato finale, terzo nella classe stranieri, sia per i tempi ottenuti nel cross test, tre migliori tempi di classe nelle tre speciali corse, ma ha perso terreno nell’enduro test.

Per il TM Racing Factory Team un’altra stagione positiva, Eero Remes ha conquistato il titolo di vice campione del mondo nella classe E1 e il terzo posto nella classe stranieri agli Assoluti d’Italia di enduro.

“Due giornata positivi e due podi ottenuti nella classe stranieri. Nel cross test e nell’extreme test sono riuscito ad avere un buon feeling mentre nell’enduro test ho sofferto e commesso forse troppi errori che mi sono costati cari in entrambe le giornate di gara. Concludiamo però la stagione con un altro podio, nella classe stranieri, dopo il titolo di vice campione del mondo nella classe E1 conquistato in Francia”.

“Ieri è stata una giornata positiva con un podio conquistato nella classe stranieri con degli ottimi tempi. Oggi invece è stato un disastro perché sono arrivato al primo enduro test con l’idea di uscire con un buon tempo ma una stupida caduta mi ha estromesso dai giochi e il ritiro è stato inevitabile. Mi dispiace molto, volevo concludere nel migliore dei modi la mia stagione ma non è stato così”.

The following day Aigar Leok has retired at the first special, enduro test, for a fall. Nothing serious but for the Estonian rider the bitter spoils of this day of race is of two bandaged fingers of his left hand. As for Eero Remes was a positive day for both the final result, in the third class foreigners, both for the times obtained in the cross test, the three best times in three special racing class, but lost ground in the enduro test .

For the TM Racing Factory Team another positive season, Eero Remes has won the title of vice world champion in the E1 class and third place in the class foreign to the Italian Championship Enduro.

“Day Two positive and two podiums in the class foreigners. In the test cross and in extreme tests I managed to get a good feeling while I suffered in the enduro test and perhaps committed too many mistakes that cost me dear in both days of competition. However, we conclude the season with another podium in the class foreigners, after the title of vice world champion in the class E1 won in France. ”

“Yesterday was a good day with a podium finish in the class foreigners with some good times. Today, however, it was a disaster because I got to the first enduro test with the idea of going out having a good time but I was a stupid drop expelled from the games and the withdrawal was inevitable. I’m very sorry, I wanted to finish in the best way my season but it was not so. ”
