A Gouveia in Portogallo si è corso lo scorso weekend il secondo round mondiale.

Le forte piogge dei giorni precedenti la gara, cadute incessantemente anche durante tutto il weekend, hanno reso al limite della praticabilità le tre prove speciali e tutto il percorso.

I nostri piloti hanno corso una gara incredibile e sia Eero Remes che Manuel Monni sono saliti sul podio delle rispettive classi, doppietta invece per il pilota finlandese che ha guadagnato un podio anche nella Enduro GP.

Eero Remes lascia il Portogallo con altre due prime posizioni di classe e al momento sta guidando la E1 a punteggio pieno.

Nel fango portoghese il nostro pilota ha dominato in entrambe le giornate di gara e nel Day 2 ha chiuso in seconda posizione nella Enduro GP.

Dopo una prima giornata di gara non molto entusiasmante conclusasi in quinta posizione e con qualche errore di troppo, Manuel Monni ha ingranato la quarta e aperto il gas nel fangone di Gouveia nel Day 2 andando a conquistare il secondo posto nella classe E3.

Per il giovane Oliver Nelson la due giorni portoghese è stata un incubo non essendo molto abile a girare nel fango, il settimo posto nella seconda giornata di gara è da ritenersi quindi un buon risultato.

“Ieri ho vinto la classe ma non ho guidato al meglio mentre oggi il feeling con la moto è stato migliore e ho vinto sia la classe che il secondo gradino del podio nella Enduro GP”.

MANUEL MONNI
“Ieri ho fatto fatica a guidare nei canali e nel fango e la gara è stata al limite della praticabilità. Oggi invece molto meglio, sono riuscita a guidare con più scioltezza e il risultato è arrivato”.

“Dopo una giornata da incubo passata nel Day One oggi è andata decisamente meglio grazie anche ai cambiamenti nelle prove speciali e nel percorso”.

A Gouveia in Portugal took place last weekend the worldwide second round.

The strong rains of days before the race, also falls incessantly throughout all the weekend, have made to the limit of practicality the three special test and all the path.

Our riders have run an incredible race and both Eero Remes that Manuel Monni have been climbed on the podium of the respective classes, daily double instead for the Finnish rider who gained a podium in the Enduro GP too.

Eero Remes left Portugal with two other first positions of class and he is currently leading the E1 with maximum points.

In the Portuguese mud our rider has dominated in both days of competition on Day 2 and finished in second place in the Enduro GP.

After a first day of competition not very exciting ended in fifth position and with a few mistakes too, Manuel Monni meshed the fourth and opened the gas in the mud of Gouveia on Day 2 going to win the second place in the E3 class.

For the young Oliver Nelson the two Portuguese days was a nightmare not being very able to ride in the mud, the seventh place in the second day of competition is therefore considered a good result.
