La piccola cittadina di Enkoping ha ospitato, come nel 2014, il quinto round del mondiale di enduro.

I nostri piloti, Eero Remes e Manuel Monni, sono riusciti a salire sul podio delle loro rispettive classi e anche nella prestigiosa Enduro GP.

Eero Remes è arrivato in terra svedese con la tabella color oro che sancisce la leadership nella Enduro GP e per tutta la giornata di gara ha combattuto per tenerla ancora attaccata alla sua TM factory.

Il nostro pilota finlandese al termine di una giornata di gara, sabato, alquanto faticosa per le forti piogge che si sono abbattute a Enkoping ha vinto la propria classe, la E1, ed è salito sul terzo gradino del podio nella Enduro GP.

Nel Day 2 Eero Remes per la prima volta in questa stagione non vince una giornata di gara e termina così al secondo posto.

Bravo anche il nostro Manuel Monni che nella seconda giornata di gara è salito sul terzo gradino del podio della classe E3 dopo una giornata di gara passata a combattere con tutte le sue forze e strabiliando nel Cross Test.

Nella classe Junior Oliver Nelson non è riuscito a esprimersi al meglio causa i postumi del recente infortunio. Oliver ha collezionato un nono e un sesto posto di classe.

Il mondiale di enduro nel mese di luglio si recherà prima in Spagna nei pressi di Bilbao per poi trasferirsi in Italia, a Fabriano, per il penultimo round

EERO REMES
“Non sono molto felice per questo weekend di gara. Ieri ho vinto la classe E1 e sono salito a podio nella Enduro GP ma oggi per la prima volta sono arrivato secondo nella E1. Durante il Day 2 sono caduto un paio di volte perdendo diversi secondi e una di queste cadute nell’Enduro Test ho perso anche la catena. Ci rifaremo alla prossima gara, in Spagna”.

MANUEL MONNI
“Ieri purtroppo non ho avuto il passo dei primi tre che sono partiti subito forte, al secondo giro ho avuto un problema alla moto e sono arrivato troppo tardi al controllo orario prendendo quattro minuti di penalità e perdendo così la quarta posizione. Oggi invece è andata decisamente meglio anche se ero alquanto stanco fisicamente ma sono entrato sin dalla prima speciale deciso per ottenere un buon risultato”.

OLIVER NELSON
“Non un weekend positivo, ero reduce da un infortunio al GP precedente, in Finlandia e qui a Enkoping ho sofferto molto. In entrambe le giornate di gara sono riuscito a racimolare qualche punto e questo è importante ai fine del campionato”.

Our riders, Eero Remes and Manuel Monni, managed to get on the podium in their respective classes and also in the prestigious Enduro GP.

Eero Remes came on Swedish soil with gold colored table that establishes leadership in the Enduro GP and throughout the day of competition he fought to keep it still attached to his factory TM.

Our Finnish rider at the end of a day of competition, Saturday, rather tiring to the heavy rains that have hit in Enkoping has won his class, E1, and took the third place in the GP Enduro.

Eero Remes on Day 2 for the first time in this season does not won a race day and finishes in second place.

Good performance also for our Manuel Monni that in the second day of competition has risen on the third step of the podium in the E3 class after a day of competition went to fight with all his might and impressing in the Cross Test.

In the Junior class Oliver Nelson failed to give their best because the after-effects of recent injury. Oliver collected a ninth and a sixth place in class.

The Worldwide Enduro in July will travel first in Spain near Bilbao before moving to Italy, in Fabriano, for the penultimate round

“I’m not very happy about this race weekend. Yesterday I won the E1 class and climbed the podium in Enduro GP but today for the first time I finished second in E1. On Day 2 I fell a few times losing several seconds and in one of my falls in the Enduro Test I also lost the chain. We’ll make better the next race in Spain. ”

MONNI MANUEL
“Yesterday unfortunately did not have the pace of the three top riders that have departed immediatly strong , on the second lap I had a problem with the bike and I arrived too late at the time control taking four minutes penalty and loses the fourth. But today went much better even though I was very tired physically, but I started since from the first Special decided to get a good result. ”

OLIVER NELSON
“Not a good weekend, I was recovering from an injury of the previous GP in Finland and here in Enkoping I suffered a lot. On both days of the race I was able to make some point and this is important to the end of the championship. ”
