Lo scorso week end si è corsa la prima gara della stagione 2014 del Mondiale di Enduro e la regione Catalunia ha ospitato il primo evento.

I nostri tre piloti che hanno corso lo scorso anno con i colori della casa pesarese, sono stati riconfermati anche per questa stagione ma la novità di quest’anno è l’ingresso nel team del pilota italiano Dawid Ciucci che parteciperà alla classe Enduro Junior.

Nella classe E2 Eero Remes ha iniziato nel migliore dei modi la stagione targata 2014. Il suo score è di un quinto e un terzo posto di classe in un terreno duro e sassoso e quindi poco nelle sue corde. Nella  giornata di sabato Eero ha commesso qualche errore di troppo ma ha anche dimostrato in alcune Prove Speciali di essere molto veloce. La giornata seguente è partita all’insegna della regolarità e si è conclusa con un ottimo terzo posto.

La classe E3, edizione 2014, ha alzato il suo livello con l’arrivo di molti piloti che lo scorso anno militavano in altre categorie e Aigar Leok non ha iniziato con il piede giusto. Le tre Prove Speciali e il percorso con un CO molto tirato, erano alquanto difficile e portavano a commettere molti errori. La prestazione di Aigar, comunque, non è stata totalmente negativa perché analizzando i tempi di entrambe le giornate di gara il pilota estone ha segnato diversi terzi miglior tempo.

La trasferta catalana di Diwid Ciucci si è conclusa con una brutta caduta nella giornata di domenica nell’Extreme Test. Presumibilmente nulla di grava ma ora attendiamo l’esito della radiografia.

Un decimo e un nono posto per il pilota cileno Benjamin Herrera nella classe Youth Cup.

“Sabato ho commesso troppi errori e il risultato finale è stato compromesso. Nella giornata di domenica invece sono stato più concentrato e alla fine il risultato è arrivato e il podio mi ha dato la giusta motivazione per proseguire nel modo giusto anche in Portogallo.”

AIGAR LEOK

“Non è stato un week end positivo, non sono riuscito a salire sul podio e mi dispiace molto. Nonostante mi sia allenato molto e duramente durante l’inverno in Sapgna non sono riuscito ad esprimermi al meglio nelle due giornate di gara. Ora bisogna archiviare in fretta questo brutto inizio e partire per il Portogallo con l’idea di ben figurare.”

Last weekend was run the first race of the 2014 season of the World Enduro Championship and the region of Catalunya has hosted the first event.

Our three riders who have raced last year with the colors to Company of Pesaro, were re-elected for this season but the news this year is the entrance to the team of the Italian rider Dawid Ciucci that will participate in the Enduro Junior class .

In the E2 class Eero Remes has started the season in the best way the season 2014. His score is one-fifth and one-third of his class in a hard and stony ground and therefore not in his ropes. On Saturday day Eero has made some mistakes too, but has also showed in some Special Test to be very fast. The following day started in the name of regularity and ended with an excellent third place .

The E3 class, edition 2014, has raised its level with the arrival of many riders who last year were militated in other categories and Aigar Leok has not started on the right foot. The three Special Test and the path with a CO very tight, were very difficult and led to do many mistakes. The performance of Aigar, however, was not entirely negative because by analyzing the timing of the two days of competition the rider from Estonia has scored several third best time.

The Catalan race of Dawid Ciucci ended with a bad crash on Sunday in Extreme Test. Presumably nothing but  now we await the outcome of the x-ray.

“It was not a good weekend, I could not get on the podium and I’m very sorry. Although I have trained very hard during the winter in Spain I could not express myself better in the two days of competition. Now we need to store in a hurry this bad start and leave for Portugal with the idea to do well . “
