Terzo Assoluto e primo di classe, la stagione di Manuel Monni nel massimo campionato italiano è alquanto soddisfacente.

A Pievebovigliana, domenica 8 maggio, Festa della mamma, si è disputato il quinto round degli Assoluti d’Italia di enduro e il migliore dei nostri è stato Manuel Monni.

Il pilota in sella alla TM EN 300 2T ha iniziato subito forte e dopo due giri stava già lottando per la prima posizione distanziato solamente di una manciata di secondi.

Al terzo giro purtroppo Maneul ha sbagliato per ben due volte nell’Estrema perdendo troppo terreno.

Da quel momento il pilota delle Fiamme Oro ha amministrato il terzo posto assoluto e il primo di classe.

Il campione in carica della E1 Eero Remes ha corso una buona gara e senza forzare troppo il ritmo ha concluso la classe Stranieri al quinto posto.

Presente in Italia anche il giovane pilota Oliver Nelson che nonostante qualche errore di troppo ha collezionato due buone prove speciali nel secondo Cross Test e nella terza Estrema.

MANUEL MONNI
“Correvo all’ottanta per cento perché ho un ginocchio infortunato e giovedì sono dovuto andare all’ospedale per curarlo. Nonostante questo stavo lottando per la prima posizione assoluta ma alla terza Estrema sono caduto ben due volte gettando all’aria la possibilità di vittoria. Da quel momento ho solo amministrato il terzo posto assoluto e la vittoria di classe”.

EERO REMES
“Una gara degna di una prova mondiale, tre ottime prove speciali e un buon allenamento in previsione del GP della Grecia”.

OLIVER NELSON
“Una gara caratterizzata da troppi alti e bassi, purtroppo non sono riuscito a mantenere la giusta concentrazione e ho commesso troppi errori ma non mi abbatto e spero a breve di riuscire ad esprimermi al meglio”.

Third Absolute and first of class, the season of Manuel Monni in the maximum Italian championship is quite satisfactory.

At Pievebovigliana, Sunday May 8, Mother’s Day, war raced the fifth round of the Assoluti d’Italia di Enduro and the best of our was Manuel Monni.

The rider riding the TM EN 300 2T started immediately fast and after two laps he was already fighting for the first position spaced only a handful of seconds.

On third lap unfortunately Manuel was wrong for two times in the Estrema losing too much ground.

From that moment the rider of the Police Force has administered the third overall and first in class.

The reigning E1 Eero Remes rode a good race, and without forcing the pace too concluded the Foreigners class in fifth place .

Present in Italy also the young rider Oliver Nelson that despite some mistakes too has racked up two good special test in the second Extreme and the third Cross Test.

MONNI MANUEL
“I ran to eighty percent because I have an injured knee and on Thursday I had to go to hospital for treatment. Despite this I was fighting for the first place overall but at the third Extreme I’m fell two times throwing to air the possibility of victory. Since that time I have only administered the third place absolute and the victory of class”
