Officially it opens the 2017 season with the first round of the World Championship in Doha, Qatar.

Race that takes place under the spotlight of the Losail track, track perfectly prepared which secured a grade show.

Samuele Bernardini is approaching this event after his excellent podium last round of the Italian Open in Ottobiano.

In timed trials Samuel is immediately at ease and is able to obtain an excellent seventh time.

In the qualifying heats “Berna” is outstanding at the start by winning the hole shot taking the lead, Samuele manages quietly to keep the lead when, because of a mechanical problem not had to raise the pace failing to finish the race in the rear .

At the start of race 1 Bernardini chooses to start from a position very secluded gate, with a flicker Samuele manages to stage a great start and already in the first curve is in the first group. Bernardini with a constant race managed to finish in fifth place.

In the second heat Samuele manages to replicate the beautiful start but in the first lap due to a contact with an opponent tumbling falls. Bernardini is able to rejoin the race but very delayed and has not been able to recover some position closing with an unexpected result after an excellent first run.

Only a few days off and then back on the track for the second round in Indonesia.

Marco Ricciardi Team Manager commented on the race: “The first race of this world long has been very positive, Samuele showed great speed and excellent management of the race, on Saturday won a great holeshot. In race 1 is very strong party and was always close to the first finishing 5th that gave moral to the whole team. The second race Samuel was recovering positions when due to a contact fell very strong reporting strong bruises. We will use this week to help Samuele to be back to 100% for the race in Indonesia. I would like to thank all the staff working at home who did a great job for us to be competitive right away.”
