Second test of the first three races of the season has been run on the track of Noto in Sicily hard bottom and very selective track due to the deep holes that were created during the day.

The Team Tm Factory is presented to this race with only Samuele Bernardini, Max Nagl was put to rest after the bad blow remedied in Riola Sardo.

In MX2 qualifying Samuele was immediately at ease on the hard bottom of Noto able to find the right feeling going to score the fourth overall time.

At the end of the heats, Bernardini started very strongly and immediately took control of the operation. The young Tuscan driver was easily at the head of the race and seemed to be launched towards a great victory. Unfortunately Samulele has run into a mistake that has seen him lose some positions.

Bernardini with a great conduct of the race managed to finish in third position and if there was still a lap he would have managed to get a better position.

In the Superfinal Samuele started once again in a big way but after a jump he fell due to an opponent, a big blow but Bernardini promptly resumed the race even if in the back row positions.

The “Berna” did not lose heart and with a great comeback ended his weekend in nineteenth positions on forty starters.

A very positive weekend that bodes well for the last race in Mantua and for the start of the world championship on March 4th in Argentina.

Marco Ricciardi comments on the race: “We are very satisfied, Samuel’s full recovery is going well, too bad the mistake in the Mx2 heat which did not give him the chance to fight for the win. In the Superfinal he crashed violently but not because of him and even though he was very late he showed good lap times. The preparation for the first world championship is going very well and this first podium of the season gives us morale”.
