CAVALLO AND PAVONI ON THE PODIUM
The 2023 FIM EnduroGP World Championship restarted last weekend in Lalin, in Spain. More than a month after the inaugural round of the season held in Italy, the second race of the enduro world championship put our riders to hard test. In two days of race they had to face three extremely technical and difficult stages repeated three times a day for a total of eighteen specials and over an hour of timed times per day.
A satisfying weekend for our three riders were avallo and Pavoni, reached the podium of their respective classes at the Spanish GP, conquering the Top Ten of the Enduro GP class.
In the E1 class Matteo Pavoni ran an incredible first day of competition highlighting his determination and speed. The final score for him is a second place in the E1 class and a precious sixth place in the Enduro GP. On Sunday Matteo Pavoni failed to be as incisive as in Day One, missing the podium by a handful of seconds in the E1 class and finishing fifteenth in the Enduro GP.
Daniel Milner made the Top Ten on the opening day by finishing ninth and finishing fifth in the E2 class. The following day, the Australian rider finished in twelfth position in the Enduro GP class and sixth in the E2 class. In the two days of competition Daniel Milner was unable to be very incisive in the Extreme and Enduro Test stages but recorded excellent absolute times in the fast and technical Cross Test.
Excellent performance for Matteo Cavallo in the Spanish weekend; In Spain, the Piedmontese rider collected two excellent third positions in the E3 class, demonstrating incredible speed. Thanks to the double Spanish podium Matteo Cavallo consolidates the third position in the provisional classification of the E3 class. In the two days of competition Matteo Cavallo came close to the Top Ten in the Enduro GP on Day One, while on Sunday he made him the ninth position.
With the Spanish round of the FIM EnduroGP world championship archived, the teams and riders move to Heinola in Finland in two weeks to compete for the third round of the 2023 season on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 May.
