Belmont: another exceptional weekend for Team TC4R1

The second round of the French Supermoto Championship took place in Belmont sur Rance (France) on May 13 and 14, amidst challenging weather conditions marked by heavy showers. Once again, the TC4R1 team showcased outstanding performances, with Thomas Chareyre shining in the S1 class, Alexis Hoareau dominating in S2, and Steve Bonnal securing a well-deserved third place on the S1 podium.

Despite the difficult conditions, Thomas Chareyre displayed absolute mastery throughout the weekend. He dominated the timed practice sessions on Saturday, leaving his competitors trailing several seconds behind. On Sunday, he conquered both races, overcoming the challenging circumstances.

Thomas Chareyre reclaimed his position atop the podium, proudly holding on to the coveted red plate as the championship leader.

Steve Bonnal emulated his teammate’s success, recording the second-fastest time during the timed practice sessions. Despite encountering a setback at the start of the first race, where he got held up in the dirt section, he showcased remarkable skill and determination to secure a splendid second-place finish in the second race, even with the inverted grid start.

Steve Bonnal’s achievements awarded him the third step of the podium for the weekend, propelling him to second place in the provisional standings.

In the S2 category, Alexis Hoareau delivered a flawless performance, leaving no room for his competitors to challenge his dominance. He set the fastest time during the timed practice sessions and emerged victorious in both races.

As a result, he claimed the highest spot on the podium, further extending his lead in the provisional standings.

In the Challenger category, Damien Gueno successfully qualified for the French Trophy during Saturday morning’s practice session. He secured the eighth position in the timed practice session on Saturday. In the subsequent races, he finished 34th and 6th respectively, resulting in a commendable twelfth-place finish for the entire weekend. In the provisional standings, he currently holds the thirteenth position.

We extend our gratitude to our esteemed partners, whose support has been instrumental in our Supermoto success.
