CAVALLO ON THE PODIUM IN DAY 1, PAVONI AND MILNER TOP5

The 2023 FIM EnduroGP World Championship continues its run and three weeks after the last GP in Spain, our riders faced Friday 26, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 May, the third GP of the season in Finland in Heinola, a small town in just over 100 km from Helsinki.

Waiting for the world circus is a track of over 50 km with three tests to be repeated three times a day to which was added the Super Test on Friday evening disputed inside the motocross track, which has hosted the MXGP Championship for years, in the presence of a large and festive audience of enthusiasts. The Finnish stage took place under the banner of a typically Scandinavian climate characterized by frequent rains and low temperatures which made the difficult race even more insidious and selective.

Excellent performance for Matteo Cavallo who finished in second place in the E3 class on Day One and obtained an excellent eighth place in the hard-fought and difficult EnduroGP class. The following day Matteo Cavallo closed in fifth position and currently occupies the third position in the provisional classification in the E3 class.

In Heinola Matteo Pavoni failed to shine like in the previous two GPs; the rider ended the GP of Finland with two fifth places in the E1 class, losing some positions in the provisional standings.

After recording the best time in the E2 class during the Super Test Daniel Milner on Sunday alternated good performances in some special stages with others in which he made too many mistakes. Unfortunately, on the first day of the last Enduro Test, his chain fell, compromising a fourth place in his class. However, on the following day Daniel Milner improved the final result obtaining an excellent fifth place.

The Enduro Circus doesn’t stop and, having archived the Finnish stage, it is already on its way to reach Skovde in Sweden where the fourth round of the 2023 season will take place from June 1st to 3rd 2023.
