The Assoluti d’Italia Enduro this weekend stopped in Città della Pieve, in the province of Perugia, for the sixth day of competition.
A race masterfully organized by the Motoclub Catello della Pieve which, in collaboration with the Track Inspector Mario Rinaldi, designed a 56 km route in the shape of an eight, consisting of three special stages to be repeated four times on Sunday’s race day for a total of 12 PS.
Matteo Cavallo ran an incredible race in Città della Pieve, his final score is third place in the scratch, conquered after fighting until the last special stage, and first place as a star in the 300 class. The Piedmontese rider has recorded excellent absolute times in almost all the special stages but he committed some distractions in the third and fourth lap of the Extreme Test losing a few precious seconds. After the success in Città della Pieve Matteo Cavallo returns as provisional leader of the 300 class.
Excellent performance in Umbria also for Matteo Pavoni, the rider from Brescia conquered second place in the 250 4T class. A good result combined with excellent performances in the individual special stages where he won nine out of twelve special stages.
In the 250 2T class, Deny Philippaerts took the third step of the podium after a hard-fought day of competition. Currently, Deny occupies the second provisional position in the 250 2T class standings.
In Città della Pieve the Australian rider Daniel Milner ran a race in which he highlighted his qualities. The final result of the pilot with table number 5 is seventh place Overall and fifth place in the Foreigners class.
