ITALIAN TITLE FOR MATTEO CAVALLO

VICE-CHAMPION PAVONI IN THE 250 4T AND DENY PHILIPPAERTS IN THE 250 2T

Final appointment with the Assoluti d’Italia Enduro, who this weekend stopped in Darfo Boario Terme, in the province of Brescia, for the ninth and tenth day of competition, marking the end of the 2023 season of the top Italian Enduro Championship. An unusual race, compared to the classic tradition of enduro races, held on a figure-eight course of around 30km characterized by five special tests to be repeated five times on Saturday 9th September and four times on Sunday 10th, for a total of forty-five PS during the entire race weekend without any classic scheduled transfer between the various stages.

The large audience that had gathered since the evening of Friday 7 September, for the scheduled prologue and valid as a special test for the following day of competition, was able to enjoy and admire the technical exploits of the riders up close. Our riders who battled it out in this last and eagerly awaited round of the season with the top Italian enduro championship.

At the end of a long and hot race weekend, Matteo Cavallo, for the fourth time, became Italian Champion by dominating the 300 class. On Saturday the official TM rider ran an incredible race, dominating the 300 class and finishing in third place in the overall where he recorded two absolute best times in the difficult and technical enduro test.

Excellent performance in the 250 4T class for Matteo Pavoni, the rider from Brescia collected two second places in this race weekend, recording excellent times in all five special tests up for grabs. At the end of a long racing season Matteo Pavoni conquered an excellent second place finish in the 250 4T class.
In the 250 2T class Deny Philippaerts ended the 2023 season in second position and in Darfo Boario Terme he raced with a hand injury gritting his teeth to finish in the best possible way. Deny Philippaerts’ final score is a second place on Saturday and a third place on Sunday.

Daniel Milner’s score, in the Foreigners class, is a ninth and a sixth place over the weekend in Darfo Boario Terme.

The trip to Darfo Boario Terme in Brescia marked the end of the 2023 season of the Italian Enduro Championships which now leaves room for the last two highly anticipated acts of the EnduroGP world championship which will take place in Portugal on the last weekend of September and the first of October.
