A race masterfully organized for the occasion by the Motoclub Fuorigiri which designed, in collaboration with the Track Inspector Mario Rinaldi, a very technical and treacherous 35 km figure-eight route marked by three specific stages to be repeated four times on Saturday and three times on Sunday, in the presence of a large audience that came throughout the race weekend to see up close the best riders on the national and international enduro scene battle it out.

The race route of the second stage of the 2024 season, which started already on Friday afternoon with the “Prologue” valid as a special test for the following day, included in order a Cross Test on a very long track (4, 20 km) and fast characterized by hard and dusty terrain followed by the special Enduro test of 6.5 km length spread out for almost its entire length inside a forest with mixed and extremely technical terrain and at the end of the lap the last special test on the programme, a natural and rocky Extreme Test 4.5 km long, as spectacular as it is insidious with slow and technical passages.

Matteo Cavallo and Lorenzo Macoritto dominated their classes, the 300 class and the 250 2T class respectively. In Caltanisetta the two drivers won both days of competition and are currently both class leaders.
On Day One Matteo Cavallo dominated the 300 class, distancing himself from the second place by over thirty seconds and finishing in seventh place in the Overall, conducting a regular race and without making serious errors. On the following day of competition Matteo Cavallo once again imposed himself in his class, winning it and finishing in sixth place in the Overall.

Lorenzo Macoritto arrived in Caltanisetta not in the best physical condition, the Friulian driver contracted an intestinal virus during the double Portuguese GP which weakened him greatly. On Sicilian soil, Lorenzo Macoritto achieved two excellent victories in the 250 2T class and is the leader with full points.

In the first round of the French Championship held in Rocroi Leo Le Quéré achieved two excellent third places in the E2 class and two fourth places in the Overall classification.

The third and fourth stage of the 2024 Italian Enduro Championships have been archived. Teams and riders are now taking a break of a month before returning to compete on the weekend of 1st and 2nd June in Spoleto (PG), the fifth and sixth round of the season 2024.
