LOKET – The twelfth trial of the Motocross World Championship finds hospitality in the beautiful surrounds of the small town in the Chek Republic, Loket, The very spectacular track with impressing variations in the slopes, always propose hard fought and enthusiastic races for its public, which each year arrive numerous.
A lot of commitment by the Team TM in this GP, by now historical sponsor Casino Bonver, every year is partner of the Youth Stream for this GP, therefore presentations of the Team, buffet on Friday evening and enjoyment for everyone at the Casino, situated right in the centre of the historical town.
Saturday’s trials with relative qualifying manche do not develop in the best way for the ensign of TM lined up in the MX2, Andrea Cervellin obtains the twenty-third position while Nick Kouwenberg the thirtieth.
First Manche- The position at the gate is not of the best but, Andrea Cervellin shoots off well at the “ Go “ and positions himself in mid group at the first bend, then at the second ubend everyone widens forcing him to close down on the gas, he passes the first lap in the twenty-fifth position or there about, Andrea does not let go and re-mounts position on position conquering a very good seventeenth position, which does not do him justice seeing the times of the laps and his great speed, retreat for Kouwenberg for the loss of the radiator cap, caused by a fall.
Second Manche- Andrea takes off badly this time, finding himself thirtieth at the first bend, but this time also, he re-mounts very quickly, but when he was battling for the seventeenth position with Lupino, he commits an error and slips, all to be re-done but his grit remains the same and Andrea conquers the twentieth position, taking home another iridescent point.
Nick Kouwenberg retires due to a fall too many and he is not yet a 100% physically fit after his re-entry after an injury suffered at the beginning of the season.
