TM RACING – FIM ENDURO GP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2022 – RD1 & RD2 – LANIN (SPAIN)
7 June 2022
GOOD RESULTS FOR OUR RIDERS AT THIS FIRST ROUND.
PODIUM IN ALL CLASS.
The first of the seven events of the 2022 season of the FIM Enduro GP World Championship took place on the weekend of 6-7-8 May in Lalin, Spain, kicking off the top enduro championship under a typically spring sun that accompanied our drivers in the race on both days of competition.
For the occasion, the Motoclub Movetena Moto designed an extremely performing and varied race course that allowed our riders to face three special stages, all of the highest level and different from each other by type of terrain and variety of natural obstacles along the route. path.
The Spanish stage opened with an Extreme Test with mixed terrain of earth and sand interspersed with numerous rocks, positioned in the center of Lalin, followed by a Cross Test and an Enduro Test located about 15 minutes from the paddock, the first very technical and fast on a mixed ground of grass, earth and sand and the second in a wood with soft and sandy soil.
A very positive weekend for all our three factory riders who finished on the podium in their respective classes and also in the Enduro GP.
Wil Ruprecht ran an incredible race always battling for the podium in the Enduro GP and E2 class. The final score is very respectable with a third and fourth place in the hard-fought Enduro GP and two excellent second places in E2. The Australian rider has shown all his speed, tenacity and concentration and is a candidate among the contenders for the title both in the Enduro GP and in the E2 class. Wil now occupies third place in EnduroGP and second place in E2.
After a subdued opening day, Matteo Cavallo proved to be a fast and competitive driver. On the second day of competition, the Piedmontese rider, who plays in the E1 class, won an excellent third place in the E1 class with stubbornness and tenacity and entered the top ten of the Enduro GP. Matteo now occupies the third place in E1.
The reigning Junior champion Matteo Pavoni, making his debut among the top riders, was not intimidated and conquered the podium on both days of competition. The final score for the driver from Brescia is two third places in the E3 class and an encouraging eleventh place in the Enduro GP during Day2. These two results place him third in E3.
The enduro Circus does not stop and after the Spanish GP, the team is already on its way to Péso da Regua, Portugal where the second GP of the 2022 season will be held on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 May.
