We return to Bulgaria after a ten-year break on the Pleven track for the fourth round of the Supermoto World Championship, the heat with temperatures over 40 degrees which made the race even more difficult. Marc Schmidt and Elia Sammartin reached the podium of the day with second and third place.

In timed qualifying that gave access to super pole Marc Schmidt gets the third time, the German saved a set of tires to be at the top in the flying lap, Elia qualifies in sixth place.
Marc Schmidt in the Super Pole showed the perfect lap going to take the pole position of strength, Sammartin improves his position with the fifth time. Erik Provaznik is eleventh and Mitja Krasniqi concludes with the twelfth fastest time.

At the start of the first race, which is usually held on Saturday, Marc was surprised at the start, losing the first place he regained in the space of a few corners, Schmidt with flawless racing behavior finished in first position. Excellent performance by Elia Sammartin who finished in fourth place. Great race for Mitja Krasniqi who recovered up to eighth position, Erik Provaznik 13th

Marc Schmidt didn’t have a good starting point in the fast race having to queue up in second position, Marc attacked in the third lap and took the lead, during the race one of his opponents tried to worry him but the strong German driver didn’t give up going on to win the competition. Another excellent performance for Elia Sammartin who is fourth. An excellent performance for Krasniq with a good race pace sees him close in ninth place. Erik Provaznik 14th.

The last heat of the Bulgarian GP seemed to be channeled towards the third victory for Marc Schmidt but unfortunately the error is always lurking, Marc at the last corner before the final straight seemed launched towards the victory but a trivial crash cut him off from the games and couldn’t help but finish third behind a tough Elia Sammartin. Erik Provaznik 9th and Mitja Krasniqi 10th.

On the podium of the day Marc Schmidt is second overall and Elia Sammartin third, in the Rookie classification Mitja Krasniqi gets his first podium with third place.
