DOUBLE SCHMIDT IN ORTONA, MORE AND MORE INTERNATIONAL LEADER

The TM L30 Racing Team has once again reached the “CIDA”, Abruzzo International Circuit for the fourth seasonal round of the Italian Supermoto Internationals 2022, the weekend in Ortona reflected the previously expressed values on the field: in S1 class Marc Reiner Schmidt scored another solid double victory, Elia Sammartin despite bad luck finished on the podium; for both still the leadership of the championships, Vandi finished third in S4 class, still holding firmly the red plate as leader of the overall.
New Entry in S Junior class: Team L30 Racing lined up Luca Maria Casagrande Contardi, who immediately conquered the podium with the TM Racing 85cc.

S1 CLASS:

In the premier class on the SMX 450 factory 2022 Marc Reiner Schmidt and Elia Sammartin again obtained the first and second time in qualifying; Schmidt has reached another record in this 2022 by being the author of pole position for the fourth consecutive time.

In race 1 Schmidt immediately took the lead of the pack, imposing an unsustainable pace for everyone and clearly winning the heat; Sammartin maintained the second position until the fourth lap, when he hit the tires that delimited the track, damaging the rear brake and therefore having to retreat to the final fourth place.
In race 2 Schmidt started again in the lead, with Sammartin immediately following; Marc was still the undisputed dominator of the race and Elia finally finished in second position at just 8 seconds, finishing on the third step of the international podium and second of the Italian championship.

S4 CLASS:

Not started in this class Alex Ruiz, engaged in the Spanish championship and Lorenzo Papalini due to the recent injury; in addition to Kevin Vandi, Giovanni M. Galloni took part in the race.

In race 1 Kevin Vandi started in front of everyone, maintaining the leadership for two laps, then his opponents attacked him and he preferred to settle for fourth place, while Giovanni Galloni started in the middle of the pack, climbing from sixteenth to fourteenth position.
In race 2 Vandi took the lead, chased by his rivals, on the fourth lap Kevin was attacked by an opponent, he kept the second position for the whole race, giving up another position only at the end, conquering third place at the finish line and of the overall classification.
For Galloni a convincing start, with the twelfth starting place. Giovanni then closed in fourteenth place, dropping slightly only at the end.

S JUNIOR CLASS:

At the start of S Junior class the young rider Luca Maria Casagrande Contardi, who obtained the sixth time in qualifying on his TM Racing, while in the first stage he finished in second place, maintaining the position from the first lap, up to the checkered flag.
In race 2 Casagrande Contardi started fifth, but set his pace until reaching the third position at the finish line and ending his debut with L30 Racing Team in second overall position on the TM 85.

IVAN LAZZARINI: “It was another very positive weekend for the team: Vandi got on the podium in S4 and lost very few points to his rivals, Kevin still firmly the leader of the overall.
In S1 Schmidt dominated without taking risks; with Sammartin who continues to be very fast and always at the top of the Italian Championship standings.
Great news under our tent with an S Junior class rider, Luca Maria Casagrande Contardi immediately did well riding our TM 85 specially prepared for the Junior class, we are very satisfied with his second place.
